Hook, line and sinker
Nantucket's fishing season begins early spring and extends until late fall. Prime species include striped bass, bluefish, scup, fluke, tataug, bonito and false albacore among many others. There is good fishing from off almost any beach on the island, but some of the favorites are Great Point, Madaket, Eel Point and Miacomet.
Riding the big ones at Cisco Beach is not for the faint of heart.
